Arsenal started brightly and took the lead through Nuno Tavares after 10 minutes. Bukayo Saka doubled the lead just before half-time, and Granit Xhaka added a third in the second half. United pulled one back through Marcus Rashford, but it was not enough to prevent Arsenal from claiming a well-deserved victory.
