Chelsea Swoop for Cole Palmer
Exciting Youngster Arrives at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea have completed the signing of highly-rated England Under-21 forward Cole Palmer from Manchester City for an initial 40 million pounds. The 21-year-old joins the Blues on a long-term contract after spending his entire career at the Etihad Stadium.
A Rising Star
Palmer, who can play as an attacking midfielder or winger, is widely regarded as one of the most promising prospects in English football. He has impressed at both club and international level, scoring four goals in his Premier League debut for Chelsea against Bournemouth.
Palmer is the fourth player to score four goals for Chelsea in a Premier League match after Frank Lampard twice, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, and Didier Drogba.
