As a member of the Apple Beta Software Program, you can now download the latest betas for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, tvOS 18, HomePod Software 18, and watchOS 11. To do so, simply go to the Apple Developer Program download page on your Mac, find the iOS 18 beta, click Download Restore Images, and download the iOS beta.
The iOS 18 Beta is Out Now
The iOS 18 beta is now available for download. It's tempting to rush out and download it, but compared to some years, this initial Developer Beta 1 release is surprisingly stable.
Using iOS 18
Overall, using iOS 18 has been pretty stable over the past 24 hours. Things have been a bit slow, especially certain features like Math Notes.

By "safe," I do not mean that until it is installed, your phone will maybe explode or data get stolen, but rather when the next version of iOS comes out and you update to it, you will most likely not be able to downgrade back to iOS 17.
